Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Sarrett! Dr. Sarrett is the recipient of the 2017 William H. Fox, Jr. Award for Emerging Excellence at Emory!

This award is part of the Crystal Apple Awards that serve to honor faculty members who go above and beyond in their search for knowledge and involvement in the Emory community. Each year, students are asked to nominate their professors based on specific criteria.

The Fox award is named for William H. Fox, Jr., who after his distinguished 26-year career at Emory retired as Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Prior to serving in this role, Bill (as he was commonly known to both colleagues and students alike) served as the first-ever Vice President and Dean for Campus Life from 1979 until 1993. Dr. Fox retried from Emory in 2005.
